2023 REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Please read this information in its entirety (there are changes from prior seasons)
REGISTRATION DATES:
- March 1st - August 25th
ELIGIBILITY:
- ALL 6th-8th graders zoned for Cambridge High School (based on your child's grade as of 9/1/23)

SUMMARY OF FEES*:
- Early Bird Registration: Mar 1- Apr 15 $650
- Late Registration: Apr 16 - August 25 $700
*Registration is NOT complete until payment is made. CFF is a non-profit organization and strives to keep registration fees as low as possible while maintaining the integrity and safety of our program. Please see "Included in Registration" below for a description of what these fees cover. If you have a financial need, please see the link below for information on our scholarship program.
MULTI-CHILD DISCOUNT:
- 1st Player= Full Price
- 2nd Player= $100 discount
- 3+Players= $50 discount per player
REFUND POLICY:
- Cancel by Jun 1 = 100% refund
- Cancel Jun 2 - July 31 = 50% refund (less $25 processing fee)
- Cancel Aug 1 or after = NO refund
SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM:
- We never want financial means to affect a child's ability to play for CFF
- Our program provides limited, need-based scholarships

INCLUDED IN REGISTRATION:
- FURY Conditioning Camp - Dates TBA
- Coaches Camp at Cambridge High School - Dates TBA
- Player Pack: Dry-fit practice shirt, shorts, personalized equipment bag
- Uniform: Practice Jersey, Game Day Jersey(s), Game Day Pants, Game Socks
- Equipment: Helmet, Guardian Cap, Shoulder Pads
- Other Costs Covered: Field Rentals (Practice and Home Games), Officials, EMTs, Insurance, Training/Game Equipment, Equipment Conditioning and Updating, Concussion Testing, Background Testing
- Note: Player will need to purchase mouth guard(s), white practice pants, cleats, any additional protective equipment/gloves, etc.
*Equipment and Game Uniforms (less socks) are returned at the end of the season

TEAMS:
- Cambridge Feeder Football is a member of the Georgia Middle School Athletic Association (GMSAA) and will compete against feeder programs of other local area high schools
- Teams are determined by grade, with one team for each grade 6th-8th
- If a team has enough players, they will participate in Wednesday night games against other teams in our program (in lieu of one practice night) to allow newer/developing players playing time/experience (while more experienced players would typically see more playing time during Saturday games)

PRACTICE:
- All teams will practice at Cambridge High School (practice field or stadium field) weather pending
- Practices will be 3 nights per week (1 weeknight practice replaced by JV game if applicable)
- Heat acclimation week (1st week of practice) tentatively scheduled for week of July 24-28, 2023

GAMES:
- All games will be played at local high school fields on Saturdays (and Wednesday nights if teams have enough players)
- Home games will be played at Cambridge High School
- Wednesday and/or Saturday games are SUBJECT TO CHANGE (please keep your schedule flexible)
- Game schedule is scheduled to be released the 1st week of August 2023

CAMPS/CLINICS:
- Summer Conditioning Camp:

- Typically Tuesdays/Thursdays in June
- 2 hours
- Free for CJB registered players
- Coaches Camp:
- Details TBA
- Typically, 2nd week of July
- Typically, 6pm-8pm at Cambridge High School
- Free for CJB registered players
- All In All The Time Camp:
- Hosted by Cambridge High School
- Details TBA
- Typically 3rd week of July
- Typically 9am-12pm at Cambridge High School
- Open to all grades (Kindergarten-8th)
- Fundraiser for CHS football (Cost approx: $120)
MANDATORY VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS:
- CFF is 100% run by volunteers. We need all families to contribute to make it happen! Your team parent will send out a schedule of needs at the beginning of the season and ALL families are required to volunteer equally, no exceptions. (Note: this is also required if your player continues through High School)
- There are two mandatory, volunteer requirements:
- #1 Game Day Volunteering (Home Games): This includes game day needs such as admissions, announcer, scoreboard, spotter, chains, snacks, etc.
- This takes place during your player's Wednesday and/or Saturday games
- Each home game requires 10 parent volunteers; approximately 5-6 games are home games
- Each family is required to volunteer a minimum of 3-5 game day events (not including snacks) per season/per player (i.e. twins would require a family to volunteer for 6 events)
- #2 HIGH SCHOOL Game Day Volunteering (Home Games): This includes game day needs such as parking and concessions
- This takes place on Friday nights at the HIGH SCHOOL games
- Middle school/Feeder families are required to volunteer for High School games (Friday nights) and High School families are required to volunteer at Middle School/Feeder games
- Each family is required to volunteer a minimum of 2 high school game day events per season/per player (i.e. twins would require a family to volunteer for 4 events)
- #1 Game Day Volunteering (Home Games): This includes game day needs such as admissions, announcer, scoreboard, spotter, chains, snacks, etc.

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Each player is required to provide the following information in order for your player to be cleared to play football for Cambridge Jr Bears. Certification is due in August prior to the first game of the season.
There will be two separate parts to the certification process:

- Documents required:
- Birth Certificate
- GMSAA Concussion Waiver
- GMSAA Participation Waiver (League Waiver)
- GMSAA COVID Waiver
- Utility Bill
- CFF Certification (please click HERE for CFF forms):
- All forms will now be completed/signed during the registration process
- Sports Physical (dated 11/30/22 or later) to be emailed to Team Parent
